With over 20 years of experience in visual design, my work has been featured across a wide range of platforms and products. I’ve partnered with major publishers and independent authors to illustrate children’s books, created illustrations for magazines and packaging, designed marketing materials and advertisements, and developed complete brand identities from the ground up. My surface pattern designs have appeared on home décor and partyware. I’d love the opportunity to collaborate with you on your next project.

I’m thankful to have worked with amazing people.

A little more about me

When my mom introduced me to drawing with pastels and the expressive style of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, it completely rocked my world. I have been filling sketchbooks ever since.

I received a BFA in Visual Communications with an emphasis on Studio Photography from Ohio University. Before starting my own illustration business, I refined my skills as a photo editor and stylist and then graphic designer and art director in Cleveland, Los Angeles and Omaha. I stay inspired with my art supply obsession and refine my craft by continually learning new ways to create digitally and traditionally.

I would love to work with you on your next project.

Pages from my art journal

It began with my children’s atlas book that they had outgrown and was too tattered to give away. I applied Liquitex clear gesso to the pages and used it as an art journal. The gesso makes the pages so easy to play with a oil pastels, acrylic paint, ink, charcoal…anything you want to try. I have a bit of an obsession with art supplies. Clear gesso makes it possible to work with the pages like collage and let some of the images or text shine through. Each page is a great leaping off point, someplace to take my imagination. It has organically become a book about my life and is still a work in progress.
